Do you have a CPA review my books?

Yes. Our team is QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certified, and all bookkeeping is done directly inside your QBO account.

What does monthly bookkeeping include?

Every month we categorize your transactions, reconcile your bank and credit card accounts, review job-related costs, and deliver financial statements. Depending on your plan, that also includes job-level cost tracking, subcontractor payment tracking, and accounts payable organization.

Do you handle job costing?

Yes — it's the core of what we do. We set up a job costing structure inside QuickBooks Online, code materials, labor, subcontractor costs, and equipment to the right job, and report margin per project so you know which work is actually profitable.

Do you track subcontractor payments and 1099s?

Yes. We help collect and store W-9s, track payments by subcontractor throughout the year, and prepare the 1099-NEC support your tax preparer needs at year end so nothing slips through the cracks.

Do you handle payroll?

We do not run payroll. We do handle the bookkeeping side of it — recording and reconciling payroll data from your payroll provider, allocating crew labor to jobs, and keeping wage, tax, and liability accounts accurate. If you need a payroll provider, we can point you to one.

Do you file tax returns?

No — we focus exclusively on bookkeeping and financial reporting. We hand off clean, organized books to your tax preparer. We are not a CPA firm and we do not provide tax, audit, or attest services.

How much does bookkeeping cost?

Plans start at $350/month for solo contractors, $700/month for contractors running multiple jobs and subcontractors, and $1,250/month for established crews with retainage and progress billing. Final pricing is confirmed after a free review of your job volume and complexity.

How quickly can you get started?

Most engagements begin within a week of your free books review. Onboarding — QuickBooks Online access, account connections, and job costing setup — typically takes one to two weeks, after which you move onto a consistent monthly schedule.

Can we cancel if it isn't working?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Engagements are month to month with no long-term contract. If you cancel, we provide your records and hand off cleanly.
